In the beginning of December 2009 the layer thickness measurement system F 2800 was handed over to the
Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Work. The order dealt with by Mesacon Messelektronik GmbH Dresden included drawing up client-specific plans of the gauge and manufacturing it.

The measurement system started its operation successfully at the coating plant. It measures Primer -and Finisher – Thickness on both sides of polymer coated strips. The coating plant was delivered by Fata Hunter.

Also two Quality Day Conferences will take place in India this year. The confer-ences, which are for Indian customers of the steel- and metalworking industry, will be about control- and measurement systems.

They will take place on 7th of June 2010 in Mumbai and on 9th of June 2010 in New Delhi at the Intercontinental Hotel of the prevailing city.

The events serve the exchange of new ideas and experiences as well as product presentations of the organizer. Next to Mesacon the events are organized by our partners EMG, LDV, Cognex and Vatron.

On 3rd and 4th of March 2010 MESACON together with EMG Automation, LDV Systeme and the Cognex Corp. organized the “Quality Day 2010” about measuring and control systems for their customers in the Chinese Steel and Metalworking Industry.
