From the 3rd to 4th March 2010 the Mesacon Messelektronik GmbH Dresden organizes together with EMG Automation GmbH, LDV Systeme and Cognex Corp the “Quality Day 2010” about measuring and control systems for the steel and metalworking industry of China. The Quality Day takes place in the Jiuhua Resort in Beijing. The European and American companies invite to discuss and exchange ideas and experiences concerning the latest technological developments. Every company will present its products and its current innovations. Mesacon will introduce Layer Thickness and Thickness measurement gauges for quality assurance.

In the beginning of December 2009 the layer thickness measurement system F 2800 was handed over to the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Work. The order dealt with by Mesacon Messelektronik GmbH Dresden included drawing up client-specific plans of the gauge and manufacturing it. The measurement system started its operation successfully at the coating plant. It measures Primer - and Finisher – Thickness on both sides of polymer coated strips. The coating plant was delivered by Fata Hunter.
